June 3, 2013 - the application for the 2014 award year is made available to participating instituions on the Searle Scholars Program website

August 30, 2013 - interim progress reports due from current Scholars

September 30, 2013 - final progress reports due from Scholars in the last year of their award

September 27, 2013 - applications are due for the 2014 competition year

September 27, 2013 - February 21, 2014 - application review period

February 24 - February 25, 2014 - Searle Scholars Scientific Advisory Board Meeting

April 4, 2014 - all applicants for competition year 2014 are notified of their application status on or before this date

April 6 - April 8, 2014 - 2014 Searle Scholars Annual Meeting

July 1, 2014 - official award term begins for 2014 Scholars
